The Villa Termal Caldas de Monchique Spa Resort is a 4-star resort located in the Natural Park of Serra de Monchique, in the Western Algarve.

The resort has a most privileged position - although it is set in the mountain side, it is just 20 minutes from the Algarvian coast and 60 minutes from Faro International Airport.

Our Thermal Spa

We are the only thermal spa in the Algarve and in southern Portugal! Our alkaline waters, rich in bocarbonate and fluoride do contribute in a special and unique way for your relaxation and wellness.

The villa is located in a quiet area in the heart of the Serra de Monchique. An area once explored by the Romans, given the thermal properties of Monchique water.

The villa has a total of 105 rooms spread over 5 small hotels, a wine bar, restaurant, convenience store and a thermal spa.

The rooms have bathroom, telephone, mini-bar / fridge, air conditioning, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe (charged separately).

The villa has an outdoor swimming pool, spa with hot springs, wellness programs and various tratamtnos, indoor hydro pool (not allowed access to children under 12 years of age), sauna, Turkish bath and gym. Mountain bikes are available for guests.

The price includes buffet breakfast, continental style. Possibility of half board or full board.

The thermal spa of Villa Termal Caldas de Monchique Spa Resort is the only thermal spa in the south of Portugal whose alkaline and rich in fluoride waters enhance all treatments and promote an immediate well-being. In our thermal spa you can find relaxation and wellness treatments, jet and vichy showers, whirlpools and use of sludge as well as a thermal relaxation circuit with indoor heated spa pool, sauna and Turkish bath.
